A new cross is added to my crosses
that are carved

while praying for the individual.

The cross on the right is the cross I carved for my wife
before she had her liver transplant in 2001.
She had wanted to have it beside her bed during her time in the hospital.
However, since she was in the hospital for 100 days and was rushed from room to room,
from floor to floor and went from one emergency to another,
I carried it in my pocket
those 100 days.
She still treasures this cross and has it where she can see it at all times.

I took time out to carve something
that is not a consignment order.

I said, "liberty and justice for all."
.......Gotta problem with that?

At the same time that I was carving Uncle Sam
I received a quick order for 3 firecrackers
from Grassroots Arts Center in Lucas, KS
sent directly to customer.
